Processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and by the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

It covers ber.agency: reading pages, the language choice, the contact form and, if you accept it, audience measurement. There is no account, no member area, no payment and no online sale on this site.

The form asks for a name, an email address and a message. Company, phone and type of collaboration are optional.

This data is used to answer your request and the exchanges that follow. It is not used for a newsletter and it is not sold.

The basis is BE-R’s legitimate interest in answering an enquiry and, where the request prepares a contract, steps taken at your request before a contract.

It is kept for as long as it takes to handle the request. A fixed retention period is not published until one has been set.

When email sending is configured, the message goes through the email provider (Resend). That provider may process data outside the European Economic Area; its standard contractual clauses then apply. The site host is not named yet.

Hosting may produce connection logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) needed to run and secure the site. How long they are kept will depend on the provider, which is not named yet. The basis is BE-R’s legitimate interest in securing the site.

Third-party audience tools may load only if you accept them in the banner. They show which pages are read and from what kind of device. They may set a cookie and process an IP address or an approximate location, including outside the European Union.

No advertising tool is loaded today. The banner already lets you refuse that category, for tools that might be connected later.

The basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time from the Cookies page. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place. Refusing does not block the site.

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or, where it applies, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also withdraw consent.

You can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).

The site is aimed at organisations and professionals. It is not directed at children and does not seek to collect their data.
